The Charter Foundation gave a $2,500 grant to Christian Care Ministries Friday, June 12. Christian Care Ministries' main objective is to feed those who are hungry in an environment of love. They depend only on donations and have no permanent income. The Charter Foundation, which was founded in 1994, gives grants twice a year to eligible non-profit organizations who apply for them. Pictured here, Charter Bank presents a check to Christian Care Ministries. Along with Charter Bank employees (in red shirts) are (left to right) Judy R. Allen, Chaplain Ken Allen, Shirley Flora, a representative of The Charter Foundation, and Rev. Tom Tippett (back row, far right), president of Christian Care Ministries.
